Tiny tots’ first graduation

Rawalpindi : To wrap up the 2018-19 academic session, a phenomenal Graduation Ceremony of Montessori section was held at Anglo Arabic Higher Secondary School. It was a day of pride for the little graduates, parents and teachers to witness them achieving the first milestone in their academic journey. The Montessori and Class 1 students will now be starting off their academic journey in Junior Wing of the school.

A senior educationist, Nisar Nazish, was the chief guest while, Anglo Arabic Higher Secondary School Association President Abdul Waheed Malik, General Secretary Nisar Ahmad Malik and executive and general council members of the association graced the ceremony with their presence.

The ceremony began with the recitation and translation of the Holy Qur’an. The guests were welcomed by tiny tots with colourful tableaus and well-choreographed performances on national songs.

The chief guest and the guests of honour gave away shields and certificates to the position holders.

Speaking on the occasion, Nisar Nazish pointed out the importance of Montessori education in upbringing of a child. He was of the view that any shortcoming at this age was hard to overcome in later stages of education. He praised the fact that the institute was imparting quality education at nominal fees, which was never a burden on parents. Nisar Nazish also shed light on the history of the school.

Earlier in his speech, Abdul Waheed Malik said that Montessori section was an important segment in school education because here the kids get the basic education, which is very much helpful in achieving good results in board examinations later in their lives. He said that anything learnt by the kids at this stage helps them all the way in their lives.

Earlier in his welcome note, Principal Manzoor Hussain thanked the parents for sparing some moments from their precious time and attending such an important moment of their kids’ lives.
