CM assures release of Rs7b for schemes

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has assured releasing Rs7 billion for development schemes throughout the province. “The government launched mega projects in road communications integrating different regions of the province that will cost Rs 80 billion, out of which Rs 40 billion have been released,” he added.
He was talking to a representative delegation led by Minister for Local Government Inayatullah at the Chief Minister’s House here. Provincial ministers and MPAs were also present on the occasion.
“The provincial government has also released Rs1 billion for irrigation schemes this month and another matching release would be made in the coming month,” he added.
He assured that the government would initiate projects worth Rs22 billion through an even approach in the entire province.
The chief minister directed to finalise a comprehensive case for giving monthly stipend to prayer leaders and solarisation of mosques throughout the province.
