White Coat ceremony

LAHORE: A White Coat ceremony was organised in Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) for the newly-enrolled students of MBBS first year.
According to a press release issued here Wednesday, Prof Khalid Masood Gondal, FJMU Vice-Chancellor, was the chief guest, while Prof Sharrien Khawar, Registrar, Prof Manzoor Ahmed, Dean, Prof Asima, Prof Kamran Khalid Khawaja, Dr Farzana Sajjad, members of Academic Council and the parents of students were also present.
Prof Khalid Masood Gondal welcomed the newly-enrolled students and congratulated them for the beginning of medical profession. He said this is the day to pledge that they would become the saviour of humanity. This is the only profession through which the success in this world and hereafter can be achieved. He advised the students that they have to abide by oath of profession throughout life and utilise their energies to serve the humanity. He said, with the team spirit and the best performance of our students and teachers we would make this university among one of the best universities of the world.
