Child labour

Child labour is deeply rooted in the Pakistani society and the children involved in it can be seen working tirelessly at roadside restaurants, coalmines, brick kilns, among other small-scale establishments. How heartrending it is to see small children, their faces smudged in dust, working under harsh conditions and dealing with uncooperative attitude of their angry supervisors.
The root cause of child labour is extreme poverty which has consumed the childhood and bright future of these children. It is the responsibility of the higher authorities to safeguard the rights of children and provide them a good environment to live in.
