Hassan to lead in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018

KARACHI: Hassan Khan will lead Pakistan team in ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018 which is to be played in New Zealand.
The Junior Selection Committee, which is headed by former Test cricketer Basit Ali, named the 15-member squad on Tuesday. The team will play three one-day matches against Australia, on December 27, 29 and 31.
The team will travel to New Zealand to play two one-day matches, on January 3 and January 5, 2018.The Under-19 World Cup commences from January 13. The training camp of the team will be set up at National Cricket Academy, Lahore, from Thursday (tomorrow).
It will continue till December 20. The team will depart for Australia on December 21.Squad: Mohsin Khan, Imran Shah, Zaid Alam, Rohail Nazir (vice captain, wicket-keeper), Muhammad Taha, Emmad Alam, Ali Zaryab, Saad Khan, Hassan Khan (captain), Musa Khan, Shaheen Shah, Munir Riaz, Arshad Iqbal, Muhammad Ali, Suleman Shafqat. Reserve Players: Muhammad Junaid, Haider Ali, Muhammad Ilyas, Azam Khan, Mukhtar Ahmad (wicket-keeper).
