Google introduces new Operating System for cheaper smart phones

Tech giant Google recently introduced a small operating system for cheaper smartphones named ‘Android Oreo’ (Go edition) which it claims occupies less memory and space.

The software was launched in India and this operating system can easily function in phones having memory of up to 512 megabytes at least.

Experts say launching small and fast operating software is primarily aimed at capturing increased share in the market, especially by cheapest smartphones.

Google expects to introduce the software in small smartphones across the market in the coming weeks.

According to a report, the number of users using mobile phones in India is one billion, 20 crores and it is the second largest market in the world of smartphone consumers after China.

Android Oreo Go can be easily found on Play Store where users can install other software on their phone from.
