Robot education competition in Spain

Spain, Madrid: Teenagers competed in 6th Annual Youth Robot Education Olympics on the south campus of the Technical University of Madrid in Spain.

120 teenagers from Chinese mainland, Chinese SARs Hong Kong and Macau, SE China region Taiwan and Spain came together to battle it out.

The competition was aimed at encouraging students to try their skill sets at constructing robots. Those with a flair for robots took part in this international robot education competition.

A student from Instituto Salesiano in Macau shares, “I started to make the robot in the first year of high school. It took me one year to finish it. I am attending this competition because it’s very challenging. Even a loose screw could immobilize your robot.”
